Best Picture of the Day: No Country for Old Men
Check out Bundler's guide on where to watch.
Why Watch It Now?
One of the most acclaimed movies of the last 15 years, the Coen brothers' only Best Picture winner may be slightly controversial among Oscar-philes for edging out P.T. Anderson's oil epic There Will Be Blood. An extremely faithful adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's novel of the same name, this violent neo-Western became an instant classic upon release. In addition to effectively creating the trope of menacing villain with stupid haircut, the film presents a more honest depiction of border town crime than the average political discourse.
Don't Take Our Word For It?
